The online edition of the international conference for FOSS developers and users, LVEE 2020, will take place on August 27—30.

The LVEE team announces the call for online participation in 16th Linux Vacation / Eastern Europe. This year the conference will be held online and will take four incomplete days. Participation in LVEE 2020 Online Edition is free of charge.

We invite you to submit proposals for presentations and lightning talks. To submit a proposal, register on the conference website: lvee.org. After registering, you can access the online abstract review system, where you can submit your talk proposals by 24th August 2020. All presentation abstracts are peer-reviewed. Lightning talks can be proposed on the day of the talk.

LVEE has been attracting participants from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, and the European Union countries every year since 2005. It offers free software enthusiasts and professionals a place to meet and exchange ideas in a friendly, informal setting at the biggest F/LOSS event in Belarus.

The presentation topics are normally focused on the design, development, maintenance, and adoption of free software solutions. There are also roundtable discussions on how open technologies integrate into business solutions and corporate and governmental IT systems.

The official languages of the conference are Russian, Belarusian and English — your submission and presentation can be in any of these languages.

The conference format includes presentations and lightning talks, round table and panel discussions, workshops, and hacking sessions. LVEE welcomes a broad selection of topics, including but not limited to new Free software technologies, software products or their usage, open-source businesses, software security, licensing, legal and policy issues, and much more.

The conference is subject to Code of Conduct; all participants are expected to follow it at all times to help make the conference a welcoming place.
