LVEE 2011 program is on the go

Reception of applications for participation in the Linux Vacation Eastern Europe 2011 conference will be finished in a few days.

By the current moment more than 130 people are registered as listeners and speakers of LVEE 2011 on the http://lvee.org website.

Within June 30 – July 03 participants will have a possibility to listen and discuss about 30 presentations, which are for now grouped in the following blocks: “Computational technologies and programming”, “System administration and network infrastructure”, “Free/open licenses and projects” and a special Ruby Workshop, which is held for the first time in bounds of LVEE. Blocks of lightning talks, so popular at LVEE 2010, are also planned.

The traditional open discussion is devoted this time to new trends in FOSS desktop environments and shells. As usual, cultural program includes a tour to historical center of Grodno for guests of the conference, thematic video-viewing and a known trademark of LVEE, free communication around the evening shashlyk.

The list of IT companies, supporting LVEE 2011 includes SaM Solutions, Promwad, EPAM Systems, World of Tanks team of wargaming.net, Altoros Systems and Anakreon, hoster.by and empathy.by.

Informational and technical partners of the conference are Linux Magazine, Root@UA, IT Business Week magazines, and it-job.by, IT-Event.Ru and usability.by, hh.by, mega-admin, SEF.by, sCommunityBY, ePointSystem and PBXWare.ru portals and projects.
